Let us pray: Father, your Word says in Psalm 146: "Praise the Lord, O my soul! While I live, I will praise the Lord; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being." So, Father, we say, "Hallelujah!" All the glory belongs to you.! In Jesus' name. Amen!
I would like to share a dream that God gave me on January 30th of this year. In the dream, I was at a swim meet and I heard someone saying, "You're next". However, I couldn't swim and I remember telling myself that. Suddenly, I saw myself wearing a swimsuit and taking my place on the platform position. When I heard the shot, I jumped into the water and started swimming but my form wasn't right. I couldn't move my legs properly, but my hands and head were in the right position. I finished the race and as I walked, I heard someone say "You were created to win!"
When I woke up, I realized that I was a winner and a champion. I understood that the race would continue whether I took my position or not. I had two choices; either to trust God and get in the water or let the thought of what I was facing cause me to back up and do nothing. Our theme for this year is "Forward." No matter what challenges we may face, we must keep moving forward with our eyes fixed on Him.
My outlook needed to shift! You must see yourself as a winner.
"Let me share what God has shown me - How to have the mindset of a winner:

1. The mindset of a winner is strong. We must have the ability to cope with setbacks and overcome obstacles while having a strong will to succeed and overcome any challenges that come our way.

2. The mindset of a winner requires discipline. This means taking control of our actions by setting and following rules that enable us to achieve our goals. We must be willing to listen to the Holy Spirit and obey His commands. The Holy Spirit is a great teacher.
3. The mindset of a winner is focused.  When a person is focused on something, they’re paying attention to it. They have clear and definite goals and ambitions. In Philippians 3:13, Paul says, "Brethren, I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead." Paul's focus is on moving forward and he perceives himself as a winner.

4. The mindset of a winner never gives up! As Paul said, 'I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.' Don't make 'quitting' your easy answer whenever something becomes difficult or seems too hard.
Let this be your declaration: Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!"  Repeat after me: 'I am a winner! I decree and declare that you are a winner! I am a champion! You are a champion! I was created to win! You were created to win! This is my season to win! This is your season to win!' The song says 'Now walk it out!' I need you to walk that thing out and stay focused forward with your eyes on Him!
